The Turkish Journal of Dental Hygiene is a biannual publication dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and clinical practice in the field of dental hygiene and oral health sciences. The journal seeks to disseminate cutting-edge research that contributes to the improvement of oral health outcomes through evidence-based hygiene practices, patient and public education, and preventive strategies. Its scope encompasses a wide array of topics, including—but not limited to—clinical dental hygiene procedures, behavioral and educational interventions, oral disease prevention, periodontal maintenance, community and population-based health programs, innovations in dental hygiene materials and technologies, and strategies for cross-disciplinary collaboration in oral care. In addition to original research articles, the journal welcomes systematic reviews, case reports, clinical innovations, and policy-based studies that promote interdisciplinary engagement among dental hygienists, public health professionals, educators, and dental practitioners. Through its semi-annual publication schedule (June and December), the journal provides a platform for timely exchange of scholarly insights to enhance global oral health standards.
