A longitudinal case series design was implemented at the University Dental Clinic of Morales Meseguer Hospital in Murcia. The sample comprised 80 adults diagnosed with periodontitis, aged between 22 and 72 years. Participants completed the validated Spanish version of the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14sp) at two time points: the initial consultation and one month after completing nonsurgical periodontal therapy. Clinical parameters—probing depth, plaque index, and bleeding on probing—were recorded at baseline and post-treatment. Statistical analyses were conducted using Student’s t-test and ANOVA. Significant improvements (p < 0.05) were found between pre- and post-treatment results across all domains except disability. Likewise, notable differences were observed according to disease stage or grade, though not by extent of the condition. Periodontitis adversely influences OHRQoL, particularly in advanced stages (III–IV). Basic periodontal therapy enhances OHRQoL within one month following treatment.
